Waiting

I've been trying to fill my time waiting to hear from the banks with a few projects... hoping that this will make waiting a little less painful.  Here's my life lately.... in pictures:

Started journaling a little bit... nothing like filling a blank page with words and drawings.

Tried on these white capris that were tight last summer...  this is how you know ;)

I got the most amazing gift for Mother's day from the hubby... it's one of T's drawings cut out of silver .  The picture does not do it justice.... it's beautiful!

I started a quilt after I saw this one on the Pottery Barn website... I refuse to spend that much on a quilt I can make myself.... I'll post when it's finished!

Had a great day with my guys on Mother's Day... I love my little family.

I got this antique school room desk off craigslist for $40... it needed some TLC.  This is after sanding, staining and spray painting it.  This may be a new hobby ;)

So yeah... I can't just sit and wait.  I'm making things happen!  What are YOU making happen right now?

Loving Life

Today I took a personal day at work and spent it with C... it was the perfect day at the perfect time. I've been missing from the blog for a while because I want to keep negativity off the blog... I like for this place to be for good, positive thoughts.

Here are a few things I'm loving...

I interrupt my regularly scheduled housing posts to announce that I've officially lost 40lbs!  As I've been doing... here are pics of my progress!  It's hard to see what I've been doing until I see these pics...

Stalking neighborhoods

We're so psyched about putting an offer on the house that to kill the time we have to wait for our settlement to be official on our house sale, we drive around the neighborhood and dream....

This is the school T would be districted for!
