My pregnancy with L took its toll on me in that I suffered from foot pain and constant fatigue. That and "eating for two" has created my current situation. While I am happy with my baby boy and family-- I'm not happy with my weight gain. I know it took 9 months to get there and I'm only three months postpartum but patience was never my virtue. I'm trying to set realistic goals for myself and try to enjoy the body I have now while I work on the body I want.
So... my (hopefully) realistic plan is:
- go to the gym Tuesdays and Thursdays after work
- weather permitting, walk around the neighborhood on other days
- eat 1,600 calories a day
- treat myself to new gym clothes after a month of regular gym visits
- walk/run 6k in April
